Hey everyone.I thought I would do a family update.Let's see...Chase is doing really well as usual.He is having guitar lessons everyweek and seems to be a real natural at it.Everything seems so easy for him.He just finished his first official science project and did very well.Haven't heard a grade yet, but his teacher sent a note home saying it was "marvelous" so I'm guessing it is an A.He enjoys science the most over all the other subjects.He is also entering the talent show next month and is going to do a "magic" show.That kid is not afraid to get up in front of anyone.I love that about him.He also just got a progress report last week and had all A's and one B in spelling.He spells like me,haha.
On to Kayden,she is buisy preparing for her end of year dance recital.She has her first solo this year and is very excited.So any grandparents wanting to join us it is June 21st.It is a really big deal around here.The dance studio usually has a three and a half hour show because their are so many kids and they so talented.I love to watch Kayden dance.She has a natural grace that comes over her face and all you see is GIRL!!!I usually cry cause I am a sap!Kayden is absolutely IN LOVE with school.She loves her teacher (sometimes I think more than me-haha) and thinks she is a teachers assistant and not a student.She is reading very well and just like her brother everything comes so easy for her.But I can see already that she is a bit of a perfectionist, which is NOT like her big bro.(I wonder where she could have gotten that from?)
Mike is doing very well...buisness is thriving in a not so thriving market.Thank God!!!And he tends to be a workaholic-but I am working on that.Trying to get him to relax and have fun whenever he'll let me.He is still drumming and loving it.He is a great Dad too.Always taking special "dates" and "boysnights" with his kids.What a guy!!!Thank you God for him!Tonight he is dragging me to a Casting Crowns concert which I will end up loving.
We started our foster care classes last night.It was interesting.I kept thinking "what have gotten ourselves into?"But I know it is from God that we do this.The stories you hear rip your heart out and after hearing some of them we can't help but do something.I know we will never regret following God down this road.The kids are really excited to have a new sibling and don't want to wait for the classes to get over.But like all good things, it takes time.
Well that is all for now...Oh yeah,one more thing.Our church finally cleared the land for the new parking lot.We should have a new building in no time!Yeah!!!!
